I only have a split second, I am soooooo busy with Holiday Everything, as are you, I’d guess. But was I going to leave y’all in a lurch with no sure-fire, fool-proof, last-minute, holiday goodie recipe? Heck, no!
Chocolate Bacon Bark will either sound like what they probably serve in heaven instead of Beer Nuts, or it will turn you off completely. If you’re in the latter camp, go in peace. If you’re in the former, read on, friend. It’s not hard to explain how tasty bacon paired with chocolate becomes such a sweet, salty, Nirvana of yumminess. But let’s just make some, shall we?
Ho, ho, ho!
EDIT: So yesterday I scribbled out the info above and the recipe, then I made a huge batch of Chocolate Bacon Bark for a Christmas party last night. And somehow I totally forgot to take pictures of the finished bark. REALLY?!? So I had to make it again this morning. I wasn’t even mad.

Chocolate Bacon Bark
Ingredients
- 1 lb. bacon, not thick cut
- 2 12 oz. bags semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cook bacon until very crisp. Drain thoroughly on paper towels. Chop fine.
- Cover a sheet pan with foil, wax paper or parchment.
- Pour chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir. Continue to microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring after each 15-second burst, until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Once the chocolate is smooth, take off the heat and immediately stir in 3/4 of the chopped bacon.
- Scrape the chocolate onto the sheet pan, spreading to about 1/4" thick. Sprinkle the rest of the bacon evenly over the top. Allow to cool until chocolate hardens. Break into irregular pieces and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container. Refrigerate for longer storage.

That s actually pretty funny!! Looks delicious 😋 Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to you, too, Eebie!
